Vikas Khanna needs no introduction at all. He is already a household name in our country. From judging Masterchef India to being a part of Gordon Ramsay’s Nightmare Kitchens, he has done it all. This global phenomenon started his journey from a humble-local kitchen in Amritsar and today runs his own restaurant – Junoon Khanna.
Believe it or not – he was also voted as the Sexiest Man Alive by People’s Magazine in the year 2011.
Atul was the first Indian Masterchef to win a Michelin Star. He is a staunched advocator of organic products and stresses on the use of responsibly sourced fish in his restaurants.
He is probably the first Chef who became a hit among TV fans, across the country. He also introduced the term Celebrity Chef to India. His show Khana Khazana was also the longest running cookery show.
Late Tarla Dalal
The late Tarla Dalal made her way into Indian households and hearts after her cookery show on TV became an instant hit. She had also published her cookbook in 1974 called – the pleasures of Indian cooking.
She has co-authored over 100 vegetarian-cuisine based cookbooks.
