Yogi Adityanath holds a bachelor’s degree from HNB Garhwal University, Srinagar,Uttarakhand.
Like many other politicians, Yogi Adityanath too has many court-cases registered under him. Some of them include; attempt to murder, rioting and possession of arms. In addition, he also has a case related to criminal intimidation registered under his name.
Adityanath’s political career began in 1996 when he was declared heir-apparent by Mahant Avaidyanath. Yogi Adityanath had earlier managed the election-campaign for Avaidyanath. He was also declared as a nominee for LS polls.
Yogi ji is also head priest of Gorakhnath temple in Gorakhpur, UP. At the same time, Adityanath has been contesting and winning the Gorakhpur seat since the year 1998. He began his victory spree in 1998 and was the youngest MP in the 12th Lok Sabha.
From a temple head Priest to Chief Minister, Yogi Adityanath’s political career has surely come a long way.
