The name Unmukt Chand might not sound so familiar to you. Unmukt Chand was the former U-19 captain who helped Indian lift the coveted trophy in 2012.

Sadly Unmukt couldn’t live up to his former glory and today he finds himself struggling to make his way back in to the National Team.

However, Unmukt’s recent heroics are sure to find him a mention soon. Unmukt suffered a broken jaw while playing for his home-team of Delhi.

However, not the one to give up, Unmukt persisted on continuing his innings. In his devil-may-care attitude, Unmukt smashed an unbeaten ton without once taking a break due to injury.

His bravado helped Delhi defeat Uttar Pradesh by 55 runs. Unmukt hasn’t been in the best of his form as he was dropped from the semis and final of the Ranji Trophy. Thankfully, Chand soon regained his lost confidence with a half century in the Syed Mushtaq Ali T2o Tournament.

Earlier during the practice session, Unmukt Chand was injured in the nets. During his awe-inspiring performance, Unmukt slammed 3 sixes and 12 boundaries.

We salute Unmukt’s fearless innings despite of the grave injury. Share your views in the comment section below. #BeFearless
