We have all read about youngsters in the news making our nation proud at the International level, be it in the field of Arts, Sports or Academics. Such young children and adults are an inspiration to the entire country who aspire to bring about a positive change in our society.

However, on the other hand there are several youth who believe that bringing about a positive change in our country is not their job. Their thought is so degrading that they resort to activities that might bring disrepute to our country. These thoughts are reflected in their actions as well as they project a callous attitude towards something as basic as civic sense and hygiene.

Forget Swacch Bharat, there are many youth who don’t take the importance of clean surroundings seriously and instead spread filth around. We came across such a conversation on the web in which our Fearless Indian reporter can be seen posting a thought provoking picture of local sanitation workers cleaning the railway tracks. However, her picture story was met with a callous response from a youngster who replied that he chose to dump trash on the roads and tracks just to supplement the income of these poor workers. This very attitude is what is responsible for making India one of the most dirtiest countries with respect to ‘swacchata.’

Kindly get this clear once and for all that your spreading trash outdoors is not going to add to the income of sanitation workers. They will be paid no matter what! We are sure you must have come across the facebook post which says, ‘What is the point of your college degree if you dump garbage on the road only to have it cleaned up later by an illiterate person?’ This certainly applies to the gentleman in question. Let us all behave responsibly and play a significant role in the ‘Swacch Bharat’ campaign. Remember, an irresponsible attitude reflects poorly on you.

Share your thoughts and views in the comment section below! Also, share pictures of people you spot spreading filth on the road.  #BeFearless
