Strict measures are being taken at all levels against the outbreak of COVID-19 virus. Many NGOs, entrepreneurs, religious places are voluntarily participating in relief measures in this Pandemic. The layoffs are increasing day by day and the laborers, the small traders, are suffering endlessly. A number of organizations are coming forward to help such people, including the Y4D Foundation distributing a month’s ration, masks and other materials for protection from corona to the needy in the Mumbai area,
Due to the decision of lockdown to prevent the spread of corona infection, laborers, rickshaw pullers, and porters are suffering. These people are facing starvation due to lack of work and means of income. The Y4D Foundation, an organization working all over India, and its activists have become angels to help these people. MyProtein and Y4D jointly provide support to more than 500 families of Vashi Market yard, MIDC workers near Kopar Khairane railway station, needy people living in slums in Nerul, slum in Thane Kharegaon. Rations were distributed. Through the Y4D Foundation, relief work is underway in Sangli, Solapur, Pune, Washim, and Aurangabad in Maharashtra as well as in Haryana, Delhi, Gujarat and Rajasthan states of India.
