The controversy surrounding RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat’s refuses to die down. Today, firebrand leader Owaisi suggested that the RSS Chief should have be posted on the LOC if he is so sure of his RSS brigade.

However, as expected, the saffron brigade has come to the aid of the RSS and the RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat.

Union Minister Uma Bharti, while defending the RSS, said that India’s first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru had sought the help of the RSS when Pakistan had attacked J&K. Allegedly this incident took place just post-Independence and Sang volunteers were there to help.

We all know Kashmir was a princely state under the direct rule of Maharaja Hari Singh. Nehru was in a major dilemma as Pakistan declared war and their soldiers had advanced up to Udhampur. The attack was unexpected and our Army did not have any hi-tech equipment to reach Udhampur at once.

This is when the then Prime Minister Nehru wrote a letter to Guru Gowalkar (RSS Chief) seeking volunteer’s help. RSS volunteers, back then, had gone to Kashmir to help the Army. Now, this is indeed a revelation and a piece of information unknown to most of us.

In their defence, the RSS accused the media of representing Bhagwat’s statements and spreading fake news.

Irrespective of who said what, we would like to hear your views on the current issue surrounding the statement made by Mohan Bhagwat.
