It seems Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the smartest player of the game which is known as ‘politics’. While his BJP forbearer Atal Bihari Vajpayee was the master of pauses, PM Modi is the king of extempore. However, PM Modi knows when to speak, how much to speak and what to speak, when to maintain a apathetic silence. He excels in the art of ignoring his rivals, a well-laid out trap that his hatters ignorantly overlook and get embroiled in. Something akin happened to Arvind Kejriwal. He just loves taking clear digs at PM Modi and Modi never considered him worthy of a retort. But, now Kejriwal’s political fortunes sank and he has switched to silent mode.
PM Modi’s silent killer has proved to be even powerful that his vocal bombs. He has often used this weapon on adversaries from several parties. For instance; after PM Modi’s swearing-in, Shatrughan Sinha hoped that we would be given the position of a minister but PM Modi isn’t the one to play by the rules. Naturally, the anger of Sinha wasn’t exactly fabricated but soon the subtle signs of hate turned into bitter yelling.
Following the path of ‘Apno Pe Sitam, Gairo Pe Karam’ brand of politics, ‘Shot Gun’ is often found praising the Congress. Recently, he had made strong statements against PM Modi, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and Union Minister Smriti Irani. In an event, he spoke that ‘If a lawyer can give his thoughts on financial matters, a TV actress can become an HRD Minister and if a ‘chaiwala’ can achieve so much then why cannot we oppose GST and Demonetisation? On the Padmavati front, he even spoke that PM Modi and Smriti Irani should break their silence before film artists.
‘Shot Gun’ did not just stop here, speaking his thoughts of the release of Lashkar-e-Taiba leader Hafeez Saeed in Pakistan, he said that talks with our neighbour (Pakistan) should continue, come what may. He also tweeted that, “I am happy that Hon’ble court granted bail to Kanhaiya, good that he has been released from jail.” So, it has been clear now that Sinha opposes the government in every manner he can. This has been the huge reasons behind his down falling image in the eyes of the people.
‘Chenu’ knows that his party is not at all in the mood to send him to the Parliament next time. PM Modi, however, is not speaking a single word against him and the BJP is in no mood to terminate him, hence Shatrughan Sinha appears much irritated now. Sinha Sahab might be a mega or superstar of yesteryear, but is the PM who rules the political ‘Box Office’.
