Rahul Gandhi has been on a roll since the past few months. After taking constant successful jibes against Narendra Modi, Rahul Gandhi is currently touring the United States signalling the beginning of the poll-campaign for 2019.

Rahul Gandhi accepted the fact that, the Congress Government’s arrogance led to its huge defeat in the year 2019. While being probed on whether he is ready to lead Congress in the 2019 elections, Rahul Gandhi said he is absolutely ready, but understands there is a process for selection of a head within the Congress party.

He also accepted the Congress party took things for granted, which lead to a series of setbacks for the oldest party of India.

On being asked about dynasty politics that exist within the Congress Govt., Rahul Gandhi chose to take the humorous route and stated – dynasty culture exists throughout India and he is not the only person to be blamed for it.

Rahul Gandhi also targeted Narendra Modi by saying: the Prime Minister of India has an army of trolls whose only job is to target Rahul Gandhi non-stop.

Mr Gandhi, during his two-week US tour, is supposed to meet Silicon Valley entrepreneurs and thought leaders to develop a better path forward for the Congress party. A highlight will be an event to be held in New York City’s Marriot Hotel with an enormous capacity of 1,900 people, where he will address NRI Indians.

BJP’s Smriti Irani however criticized Rahul Gandhi for belittling the honourable Prime Minister – Narendra Modi in front of a foreign audience. She also called him the product of failed dynastic politics.
