They say the world goes round; because of a few good men and women left.
Vinod and Seema Meena certainly fall in to that bracket. Vinod, 41, and Seema Meena 39, have been training under-privileged kids to help them succeed in competitive exams.
They do this absolutely free and also help them earn Govt. jobs in Rajasthan and across the country.
Vinod and Seema belong to Rajashtan’s Dausa District, which is situated around 55 kms from Jaipur.
The noble couple were inspired from Anand Kumar’s Super 30. The couple’s Nishulk Guidance Classes has helped over 300 underprivileged kids while helping them secure Govt. jobs in public services such as banks and police departments.
The couple run the coaching classes, not for profit but for genuinely helping the needy children find a stable-career path. They spend over Rs 20,000 per month from their own salary to cover the rent of the premises & stationery.
From an initial batch of 43 students in 2011, the couple has come a long way. They teach students in various subjects such as Maths, Science, English, GK and logical reasoning.
The idea behind starting Nishulk classes was quite simple – The coupled had faced hardships during childhood for receiving quality education at affordable cost. Hence, they wish to help those who cannot afford education owing to their poor background.
The couple shared an interesting experience – The couple who were initially mocked for teaching when they had begun with their noble initiative. However, the same villagers today laud their efforts and give them the respect that they deserve.
