India celebrated the 1st anniversary of Notebandi today. That fateful day still sends down shivers down the spine. Thankfully, the day is way behind us and unending ATM queues are behind us for good.
Today, the ruling BJP Government celebrated Nov.8 as Anti-Corruption Day whereas Congress termed it as Black Day because Demonetization caused severe grievances to many in India.
On this day, it was of utmost importance that our Prime Minister Narendra Modi came out and addressed the nation and re-presented his POV on Note-Bandi’s anniversary. Today, our honorable Prime Minister shared a video on his official Twitter account chronicling the importance of implementing the widely criticized Demonetization drive.
The video talks about the reason why Demonetization was done and the positive after-effects of the same.
