Football triumphed over cricket and Bollywood this year. FIFA World Cup 2018 was the most searched query and most Googled in sports and news category as well.
This year people’s search histories were full of high-profile weddings. ‘Priyanka Chopra Nick Jonas Wedding,’ ‘Deepika Padukone wedding’ and ‘Sonam Kapoor marriage’ were in the top 10 trending news of 2018, along with the Statue of Unity, Bitcoin price, Budget 2018, and Section 377 topping it the“What is” list.
