Y4D (Youth for Development) is a charitable organization which works for the betterment of the society by finding sustainable solutions. So, Y4D specifically focus on the area of Child Education & Youth Empowerment/ Employment. Y4D runs program “Skilling for Employment” for youth underprivileged background (BPL). Y4D has started hosting the Pillars of New India Youth Awards-2017 to recognize the youth who have contributed to the society.
India is one of the world’s youngest and fastest-growing countries and Maharashtra is one of India’s youngest and highest GDP state with a booming economy. All around youths are continuously leading efforts towards better future and finding new innovative ways to build New India and New Maharashtra. Pillars of New India Youth Awards is an effort to recognize these youth leaders who are driving change in society, agriculture, industry, preserving culture, sports, law & order, education etc. Pillars of New India Youth Awards gives chance to every youth to stand and tell his/her story, work and ask support.
Pillars of New India Youth Awards even give chance to citizen and society to choose their own future leaders. In 2017 awards we are limiting entries of nomination only to Maharashtra Resident but voting is open to all so that everyone gets a chance to appreciate and choose work done by youngsters of Maharashtra state. Chief Minister Mr Devendra Fadnavis agreed to launch this campaign and present as a chief guest for the award ceremony to motivate Pillars of New India who are working tirelessly for Building New India and New Maharashtra.
The categories that are open for nominations are as:
Ambassadors of New India: Nominee should be involved in Print, TV, Digital or Social Media for critical analysis of issues affecting the nation and society.
The architect of New India: Nominee should be involved in construction or infrastructure development sector.
The backbone of New India: Nominee should be a Farmer or Associate with Agriculture Industry.
Fortune hunters of New India: Nominee should be a Businessman, Startup founder, entrepreneur, corporate employees, social entrepreneur etc.
Healers of New India: Nominee should be involved in the medical profession, medical research etc.
Shaping of New India: Nominee should be associated with education sector or founder/promoter of institution/colleges/universities.
Special achievers of New India: Nominee should be differently abled(disabled) person and achiever in any area.
Spirit of New India: Nominee should be Political leader holding any position in a political party or actively involved in political campaigns or associate with any type of union ex-labour, student etc.
Torch Bearers of New India: Nominee should be Lawyer, Social Activists, Professor, Police, Government officers etc. involved in governance and shaping of future of the nation.
Trendsetter of New India: Nominee should be an artist, sportsman etc. associated with cultural, entertainment, sports, modelling industry or taking initiative, which is setting a new trend in the industry.
